In a rich, warm, funny, and meaningful conversation, Bruce Berlin talked to Victor La Cerva, MD and co-founder of New Mexico Men's Wellness, about his memoir, "From Camden to Kathmandu," a journal on becoming.

Photographer Carl Moore had a warm and engaging chat with author and conservationist William DeBuys about his journey to photograph the roads and byways of Jack Kerouac's On the Road. Carl paired selected passages from On the Road with his photographs, inviting readers to see Kerouac’s America anew, not as nostalgia, but as a living, breathing terrain.

In an erudite and riveting discussion with radio host/podcaster Mary-Charlotte Domandi, author and much-awarded screenwriter Kirk Ellis presented his just-published work, "They Kill People" - an engaging study of the 1967 classic "Bonnie & Clyde" and the parallel changes in gun attitudes and regulations in the US over the years of its success. An overflow audience was treated to lesser-known facts and tales of the movie's making - some hilarious, and some with direct and lasting effecton the American culture and mores.

Former politico, longtime activist, and faith leader Rev. Wesley Granberg-Michaelson engaged in a thoughtful, wide-ranging conversation with lawyer Ester Jamison about how spiritual wisdom—across traditions—can guide lives of integrity and public service. They explored the vital role of soul work—spiritual formation and inner practice, regardless of religious affiliation—in sustaining meaningful social witness. At a moment when many activists are facing deep exhaustion and burnout, their dialogue offered timely reflections on how inner grounding can renew long-term commitment to justice and the common good.

An extraordinary evening of storytelling and conversation between Julian Brave Noisecat and Deborah Taffa. The air amongst the more than 100 people in the store was electric, and all we can say is watch the video recording!

Our final event of 2025 was a special Holiday edition of community storytelling. Six funny, authentic, charismatic community members told a story about a particular Holiday that shaped their lives. S.E. Elkins (Pioneer Day); Nancy King (Hanukkah), Wayne Lee (Fourth of July), Alfredo Celedón Luján (New Mexico Christmas), Issa Nyaphaga* (Kwanzaa), and Violet Stone Gutierrez (40th Birthday) helped us celebrate this Holiday Season with joy, laughter, and lots to contemplate!
