About the Event

Winona LaDuke is an internationally renowned activist working on issues of sustainable development renewable energy and food systems. She lives and works on the White Earth reservation in northern Minnesota, and is a two time vice presidential candidate with Ralph Nader for the Green Party. 

In 1993, LaDuke established Honor the Earth with Indigo Girls Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, she is the Executive Director.  In their 20+ years of operation, they have re-granted over two million dollars to over 200 Native American communities.  

Collected Works will be donating a portion of the proceeds of sales of the books to Honor the Earth.
