About the Event
Recent events in Santa Fe's cultural history, including changes to the Fiesta Entrada, can be connected to a broader social movement that seeks to restore control of narratives to the authentic storytellers in order to achieve greater understanding between cultures. New Mexico's role in the history of the Americas is a grand one, from the Pueblo Revolt of 1680 forward, and a new work by Oliver Galvan-De La Cruz, a television series screenplay entitled NATIVO, weaves the long view of history with a fantasy element that some reviewers have called a "Pueblo Revolt Game of Thrones."
