How many of us have been told to do this at least once in our lives? "Wishless" tells the tale of a kingdom that falls on hard times after banning the act of wishing upon an eyelash. Unintended consequences follow as well as lessons learned.
After nearly 30 years working as a successful and award-winning TV writer producer, Harry Werksman left the comfortable confines of Los Angeles for the wind-swept, wide-open spaces of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Upon his arrival, he decided that the story for WISHLESS – which had come to him fully formed in a dream 25 years prior and had been waiting for some attention – was his next project. The problem was he had a story, but his artistic skills were and are, at best, poor. But when the Universe put he and Maya together WISHLESS quickly became a reality. Wishes are child-like, innocent prayers and people around the world have countless traditions surrounding them. WISHLESS is the first book in a series that will explore these traditions and, we hope, will open the hearts of readers – both young and old - to the possibility of manifesting a better world for us all.
