The Lovesick Skunk is a popular children's tall tale book by Joe Hayes, telling the story of a boy in Arizona whose smelly black-and-white high-top sneakers attract a romantic skunk. The story follows the boy's reluctance to stop wearing the shoes until the skunk intervenes.
