Moonbones, a graphic novel, is a ticket to the hidden desert realm between life and death. Follow the path of a young coyote as he navigates the mesas, dunes, and mountains of the spirit world. Beyond the mysterious spirit beings and new dangers to evade, something in this world is not quite right. The Yucca spirit becomes Coyote's guide, and together they journey through vast landscapes where water has become a distant memory. If they can reach the moon some answers may be revealed, but it will not be simple.
Written and illustrated with dip pen and ink, this graphic novel was inspired by the artist's experience of drought and the resilient ecosystems of the high desert.
