TONY ANELLA, past co-chair of the Aldo Leopold Centennial and founder of the Leopold Writing Program shares his insights garnered from organizing and implementing bundled programs aimed at promoting the conservation ethic of renowned ecoethicist Aldo Leopold—“That land is a community is the basic concept of ecology,” Leopold writes, “but that land is to be loved and respected is an extension of ethics.” Leopold’s ideas so moved Albuquerque architect Tony Anella that he embarked on a life-long quest to fulfill Leopold’s message as an enduring legacy for New Mexico’s present and future.  Join Tony Anella as he shows how he built his vision into a series of concrete and effective programs that join communities of shared interest together to celebrate Aldo Leopold and his conservation ethic.
